Oh man I can't stand the fucking vehicles in onslaught, with the exception of the scorpion and the hellbringer. The manta and the airplane and the tank are clearly n00b fucking bullshit that take about half a brain to use and really fucking piss me off. The manta is almost impossible to kill in the hands of a decent player and a n00b can still wipe you out every once in awhile when he isn't busy being blown up. Even with the rockets decent players will evade you because:

a) they'll get out of LOS
b) they'll run you over
c) they'll drive past you at high speeds .. fucks up the targetting

so the only option against that pos is the machine gun on alt-fire.

It still moves *WAY* to fast to be fair though and it can jump across the map in about 20 seconds.

gimme dm any day of the week...

Don't get me started on the tank
199 health
150 armor
tank driver rotates turret to your "general" direction
clicks button
you die, maybe have like 30 health left if your lucky. they can be sitting all the way back near that powernode and kill you still at the one right outsie your base. It takes like 4 missiles to bring that thing down too and it just respawns again in another 45 seconds or so or when they capture the node again...

ugh...

I don't like the engine they used for this.. too much like Quake 3 (which I didn't like either)

Haha, what does the engine have to do with anything? ID software and Epic Games make the best 3D engines this side of the galaxy. By best I specifically mean most efficient and flexible Although I still think the quake3 engine with some updates to it's totally borked lighting system (read RTCW overhaul) and some new fx feature (pixel shading whatnot) would walk all over the unreal engine. All hail doom 3 It shall own all.

UT2004 is A LOT better than UT2003, but nothing (and I really mean NOTHING ) beats UT
