only lawler kindof prog is real

Lawler's started spinning prog ? Since when ? I'd say he's more tribal with generous doses of house then anything else.

Smile Thanks

Thanks to all who responded, however I'm more confused now than before I started the Thread!
Just kidding!
I enjoy both styles which is probably why I'll GET THE WRIST-BAND ALREADY!

hmm
I am not good at classification, but I thought lawler spins tribal prog?

whatever he spins ,I like that style

I also don't like the "chillout" sounding prog, and prog that has alot of funk and elctro...

I am not sure if I make any sense

i think it's important to qualify any respose to his question. It's not overly helpful to do otherwise.

it's hard to classify a lot music these days...

i would call lawler 'tribal'

he does throw in some house and prog tracks.

whatever it is, it;s sexxxy stuff.

I *heart* lawler.

Fair nuff i guess. Genre dissections are tedious at best, so i'm not going to touch upon what the difference (if there is indeed any) between 'Tribal' and 'Tribal Prog'. Suffice to say, i do enjoy the chillout element that is one facet of progressive music. In a 3 hour set, it actually pays to have moments where the musical journey ebbs and flows , thereby setting up the stage for the really massive tracks to work their magic.

But if that's not your cuppa, then by all means, enjoy Ferry churn out epic track after epic track.

PS. I have a feeling this night is going to be great. And I'm not just talking about the KH. Leaving aside personel sentiments and passionate opinions, both DJ's have a history of delivering what their fans want to hear...so just enjoy the night, and don't mind the little 'heat' this thread is sure to create.

PLUR ( <--- cause it seems like the 'right' way to end things ----> )

funny thing is; I only enjoy trance at big clubs (no trance at home)
maybe it's the atmosphere or something...

still, best parties are those with the likes of lawler, sander k zabiela...
