One thing i was skeptical about was the direction of shadows. I figured that the sun was bright enough to reflect light off of the objects (flag, ship, rover) to create multiple light sources.

I wish I had this pic they showed on the news here. It is of a cresent moon but you can see the part that suppose to be dark and shadowed.
the reason, the earth's reflection.
just as the moon reflects on the earth, the earth does the same. so that is why there are multiple shadows.
