in most cases, those guys are more prolific than the gals. look at internet.. 100 billions of hotbod girls (ahem, Paris Hilton) auditioning on the Net for those anonymous peeps. you don't see this with the ah guys. this sort of beauty standard (big boobs or whatnot) is programmed into the males, foremost, and then the females, hardcore - especially in American culture. 
in canada, there is a standard at the clubs. they'll allow underage girls in without discretion. there's a standard for hiring attractive girls vs non-attractive ones in the restaurand industry. the girls get free accounts to those blah blah chatlines.
in the entertainment industry, "I'll hit that" britney spears and christina aguilera are constantly being marketed. there's not day goes by I don't feel like taking a flamethrower and torching all those superficial mags with their faces plastered on it. 
however, i do have standards - just not as high. i'm more interested in a gal who could equally challenge me in the cerebral cortex. she can look average. she can be a scared-shitless closet sex-fiend. I love challenges. Just not fat. No spare tires, pleaze.
