cold ater is horrible for grease burns.
in case of a grease burn use aloe(sp.?) or sylvadine(sp.)

actually, putting ice on it makes it burn longer, and you won't be able to take the ice off it all day without it burning...so cold, running water is better...followed by some aloe and a scooby doo bandaid.

i had a similar incident a while ago, i picked up a grill plate at work, it fucking kained.
3 of my fingers were totally fucked, including my thumb
it took abt 2 weeks for my hand to heal, during this time i was unable to do my thing. so i used the other hand and it was crap.
the colder ur thumb is, the better as it will be numb and all fucked up.
** One time when I was done with a research paper, I was going to staple it and I ended up stapeling my finger. Lol. It didn't hurt until I had to pull it out. Then it hurt like f***
