as producers and remixers it is NOT our job to master ourselves, and mastering houses are pisssssssssed when u do limiting on your own before it goes to pressing...
there is no postprocessing here at all... i dont trust my ears to master...
i see what ya mean by that mp3.. but trust mastering houses to do it better than i can...

oh absolutly they can do a better job.. but why pay them when I can get results that are almost as/just as good by myself

cuz i dont pay em and hey if u do better go right on ahead, i dont think i can get better.. i'd rather my stuff go thru proper avalon AD/DA converters and get the works on a nice outboard..

I didn't say I could do better.. but I do think that it's part of the amateur producer experience to learn to master a track as well
