i think this album is class, tho i have put it down for awhile. i dont think that it is harder or softer than Morning View, actually reasonably similar, but i think the 'hardness' is more of an older incubus style.
its a bit more eccentric than the last, likely cause they were out of their 'comfort zone' as they said - recd in GA.
ive had several fav songs while listening to the disc, but actually im leaning in the softer direction now -
Southern Girl cause it was def influenced by their recording session, or it seems so.
Here in my Room - just represents all that is dynamic and 'interstellar' about their music.
Monuments and Memories - killer too, gorgeous, tho it is only a b-side to Megalomaniac.
Leech - harder, and just classic inc|

Biz you gonna be in Colorado this summer, Incubus is performing @ Red Rocks!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!
P.S. - Monuments & Melodies = very sad emotional song IMO. Have you heard Pantomime? Damn, I wish it had been on the album, that was the 22 minute track. . . They played a bit of it during that online concert I was talking about, its brilliant.

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
