so the 'cool' people listened to trance in 2003, the same thing happened in 1999 and in other genres before then, everyone gets into something just cause it's different, they hump the life out of it and then desert it and bash it, true fans never do that, guess theres just a lot of those sheep around at the moment. People like you will always be into something until it's no longer seen as cool to do so, and the scene doesn't need that. There are a lot of tracks worth hearing in many styles, techno, psy, epic trance, tech-trance etc, if you really dislike trance that much then fuck off to progaddict or breaksaddict or whichever one is the one you want to hump next. Trance will never die, the only thing dying is the support of people who don't really contribute to it in the first place, and that's a good thing cos it might get better again if everyone and their pet cat stopped trying to like it. |
Word! It's the circle of EDM...tell everyone why ur so cool that u listen to the "less-popular" stuff...then it get's to be huge, and all the sudden it sucks now....isn't that what you wanted though? Didn't you start complaing to us why we should listen to your "ultra-cool" genre? And once we do, wouldn't it suck because it'll get popular?
I'll always love trance...sometimes it's harder to find the quality songs than at other times, but I will always find trance to love and trance to spin...whether it's ranked no.1 or no. 111111111111 it's always no.1 in my heart as well as those dedicated TA's out there. I respect other styles, and I really enjoy some techno and prog tracks...but not as much as trance. And I'm not going to start humpin the next genre simply cus it's more "underground"
