Hah!

Minimalistic trance will reach mainstream status and tracks will feature sound frequencies that will frucked up our brains!!!!

Seriously though, who knows what the future holds - someone should dig up this thread when the year 2025 comes

How can you even guess? I bet 10 years ago people would never have believed that this music would reach the point it is at now. Just imagine 10 more years from now. Maybe we will be able to physically experience it?

here is a weird theory.

generally, music and science will be merged into one thing. i mean musician's gonna have to be a scientist to examine brain waves and signals. and they will make crazy electro sounds to make us feel euphroic. neurologists and psychologists might help musicians to make a real TRANCE sound.

People have already experimented with trance-enducing sounds, but it's not music really.

Music really doesn't directly affect your brain to make you feel euphoric, nor will it ever I think...it's meant to be taken in by the listener and give them an emotional feeling from it if that makes any sense. Music fusing with science is a neat theory however.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can sometimes physicallly experience music today.

As for 21 years from now, I'll be telling my kids the same damn thing my parents tell me today, "Turn that satan music down will you!" I'm as curious as the next trance addict as to what our beloved music will end becoming, but in the end we will not be listening to such avant-garde music, as we are today, since well we all inexorably be pursing the social status-quo of tomorrow. Blows, but that's life.

lol,cool opinions here is mine!

Actually a retro-label would try to restore quality on an extremely boring and commercialised electronic scene of the time by bringing back thelong- forgotten epic proggy trance of 99! solar stone and the thrillseekers will be remembered and various artists will release in similar style but with 2025 state-of-the-art sound production techniques. The retro-futuristic arpeggiated sound will be played in small clubs, were strange freaks would bring things called glowsticks and wave them as they dance to atmospheric and nostalgic melodies!sounds like what gigolo does today with the end-of70s-8os era!(and the comeback of giorgio moroder and alexander robotnick!)

Looks like you wish desparately that you relive 1999 even in 2025..which is nice to hear

I,for one, find it difficult to diggest the fact tht trance is evolving into a whole new sound..more tech and less melody.

Trance as we know it will die.

I will drink to this.

*listens to cloudwalking and sheds a tear*
