I knew it...I knew it...
Ok, i knew this was gonna be compared to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
But anyway, just a few things and then we'll close this topic and go back to Kurdish-Syrian conflict.
Cyrus King:
| quote: |
Because you formed a country out of the blue on palestinian land.
Syria was there with SYRIANS for centuries. Syrians are the Indigenous population of Syria, Palestinians are the Indigenous population of where Israel stands now....
|
That's true. Syrians were always there, and the Kurds that are legal in Syria have no problem with being in Syria. Palestinians are doing what they're doing because the State of Israel was created like 50-60 years ago.
U have to be able to see the difference between these two issues. Because there is one! and it's crystal clear.
One other thing:
the 200,000 Kurds who do not have legal papers and legal Syrian rights in Syria, well, Syria accepting those Kurds in and let them stay in Syria because they were escaping Saddam's terror. Yet, it's those 200,000 kurds that have started somehow what has happened. Well, we let u in, but dont go around fuckin it!
Anyway, long long long topic, and once again: BIG difference between the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Kurdish-Syrian conflict.
DJ_Kreing, do you have an idea about the Qamishly? a city in Northern Syria which is now seein more and more kurds everyday?
No offence but i dont think you know. Qamishly is where my parents came from. Back in the days, this small city was only inhabited by Christians and Muslims (around 50-50%). A few years later, Kurds started coming in because they were escaping or because this city lies within their "imaginary Kurdistan". Because they moved in so wildly, a lot of christians and muslims (especially Christians) escaped. Because a lot of Christians escaped and wanted to move their papers, formalities and all other gov't documents, the GOV'T refused to move their papers. Why? So that the Kurds dont fully occupy the city and call THEI OWN city. This is the case with my family and a lot of other chrisitian/muslim families. Qamishly before = Paradise. Qamishly now = Crap. Now to answer your question or statement: Do you, in any way, see this as an occupation? I see it more like a Kurdish occupation.
P.S: they claim Kurdistan to be part of Syria, Turkey and Iraq. Go to fkn Turkey and do ur shit there! Or go to Iraq since the country changed!
Anyway, let's go back to the Syrian-Kurdish conflict. The problems now reached my home city - Aleppo! so far, 36 kurds have been killed. a lot arrested and i hope the military comes in and doesnt let it stay a syrian vs kurds problem but a militay vs kurds thing!
