DJ NGE, Thanks for the info! I am actually interested in putting it onto my mp3 player to hear it since my speakers on my computer are not working. It's alright though; i need to buy some new ones. If I'm using Windows media player, what would i use for a cue plug in? the same one as the winamp one?

Thanks! My friend on here didn't post anything but he says you have great transitions between your songs.

Take Care,
The Peach

I don't know if there's a cue plugin for the windows media player... the mp3cue plugin is only for winamp. but you can listen to the mix without a cue also, you know?

OK, I got a chance to listen to it on a long journey and it just completely lifted my mood! By the way, I chopped it into two 45 min files - 7 tracks each.

The tracklisting: it's awesome IMO, the only issues there are the distribution of the vocal tracks like someone mentioned. There are a lot of great vocal tracks but perhaps an overload. Great opening track, but hearing Beautiful Things at that speed just didn't seem right to me!

Perhaps the only thing was that there were too many well known and possibly overplayed songs - eg ATRC, Rock your body rock etc. However, if this is a promo mix then I'm guessing the people that would hire you would want this kind of stuff, so it seems as though you've thought that through already

In the second file of 7 tracks there was a part where I thought there was a lack of vocal tracks and the way the synths were going I thought 'Jan Johnston - Venus' would have fitted well in there.

M1 - Heaven Sent is one of my favourite songs of all time and I'm undecided on the closing track, it's good but I just like Heaven Sent so much I would have been happy for it to end there!

I hardly know anything about the technical side of DJ so I can't help much that way, but there are a few things I'd like to constructively critisize (sp?). Firstly, the mix between tracks 1 & 2 didn't seem right - I think possibly you brought Beautiful Things in too early. It was similar between tracks 2 and 3 although to a lesser extent. While the melody of Beautiful Things was playing you introduced the next one. I don't know if you meant it or not, because on second thoughts it helped to keep the mix going and brought the next track in in a good style.

Overall, thanks for uploading it and letting me enjoy it!!

Gooner,
Oh boy! I am so confused. I downloaded cdrwin, mp3directcut, and this "Lame" program that mp3direct said it needed. I have no clue what i'm doing. I went thru the instructions. I press all these edit buttons and it doesn't do anything. All I want to do is just cut the track in half so i can fit it on my mp3 player . Do I need a cue sheet to do that. Also, I use adaptec to burn cd's. Can you use that with this mp3directcut stuff?
