Maaaaaaan! If u are looking for work and speak french have noworries. There is TONZ of bilingual jobs in TO! TONZ and they all pay more than 15 an hour. Unfortunately speaking just German and English does not make me a great candidate for "bilingual jobs. I have only once gotten a reply for being able to speak the languages I do.

Hehe, yeah being able to speak a few languages definitely opens a lot of doors. Even with German though, be persistent and it's gotta pay off eventually, Frank.

some of the bilingual jobs are picky as fucking hell. There is an agency called bilingualsource...really a bunch of bastards....me and a few friends of mine wanted to get bilingual jobs since we are all bilingual. They said they had nothing, we called them up and finally got a real answer....they really want just francophones for their jobs. I speak french very well but I'm not at the level of a francophone.

nice, thank you Del!

I hope for a job that isn't TOO strict with the french, cause like torontotrance, I speak french well, but im no francophone. Once for a job I was applying for a few years ago, I was required to write a written test to evaluate my french level, and alot of it was translating office/call center words and terms from english to french. I didn't know what the hell I was doin, so needless to say I bombed that test, I walked out of the test laughing...

I also had no idea there was such a thing and seeing as how I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities (re: I'm bored at work), this is definitely on my to do list for next weekend
