Oh yeah about the filename - I was going for the longest title, ever. Dunno if I got it, (come to think of it, The Orb - A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules from the centre of the Ultraworld and other tracks like that might be longer) but I had fun with it.

rofl, nice vocals!!!!
here we go!!!!
omg winamp repeat

Yes, due to the response in the other cheese thread, I think this should be official. We all submit our best cheese. A few questions need to be worked out:

1) Who judges? I like some cheese myself (though more of the "big melody" cheese than the "pop vocal" type), but we need some more opinions.

2) Are there multiple categories? I think we should have:
Cheesiest
Best produced
Best melody/chords
Best mixing/mastering

3) How do we submit? Do we just all post links right before the thing ends?

4) Just how cheesy does it have to be? Does only DJ sammy stuff count? Or would armin style? or airbase/flutlicht style?

I think we can all agree that there's not going to be a prize .

Anyone interested?

ok alot of poeple, including myself, seem to be interested,

so

i propose these answers:

1. final voting should take place in a poll, to get in the poll you must be nominated twice(or once depending on the turnout)

2. i agree with the separate category thing, but i think we should keep it simple, ie... cheesiest(funniest joke) and cheesiest(hey this is actually kinda good). mixing, mastering, and melody would make this competition like the Grammies.

3. Start a page where links are posted to songs and where people can also nominate the tracks that they think are "worthy". after a certain time period close the thread.

4. there is no definition of "cheese" some people think armin is "cheese". how about this, since we all have a different definition of cheese, try to imagine someone who loves “cheese,” does he or she like your song? (does that work?). I don’t know, everyone knows what “cheese” sounds like I don’t think this should be a problem.

and for a prize, i will give you a hug.

in terms of time limit, a lot of people (myself included) already have tracks done, so for us we would just be waiting around for months for other to finish. while on the other hand people who haven’t started might need months to finish. im going to guess that if you need more then a month to finish you are taking this toooo seriously, so im going to propose a time limit of no more then a month.

if no one else is interested in getting this thing off the ground i would gladly get it started(but i would also like to participate).

any other suggestions ?
