I like the DDR soundtracks... they picked a lot of catchy, obviously dancy stuff -- and trimmed it down to short edits! Haha...

one of my faves is the "Silent Hill" X-masy song, no relation to the video game of the same name. It's SOOO catchy...

Lira, nice to see someone else who likes the history lessons. I can always stand to learn more.

DDR Music = J-Pop gone wrong (if that is possible, which in this case it is)

No, Shibuya-kei is J-pop gone wrong. Many DDR tunes were actually produced in Europe.

10th Planet - Ghosts (Vincent DeMoor mix) is in one of the newer ones.. Good song, I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned this one.

My girlfriend likes 5th mix.. favorite songs on that are definitely
Captain Jack
Dub-I-Dub
Butterfly
Stomp to my Beat
and
B4U

... I heard Captain Jack and Dub-I-Dub a long time ago since I first got my start listening to lots of eurodance, so those songs bring back lots of memories.

u should download a prog called xstep m8 .. makes creating step files pretty easy

yeh they actually have a few trancers in there...

lange - drifting away
tenth planet - ghosts (vdm mix)
silvertear - so deep
groove coverage - moonlight shadow (meh)
marc et claude - lovin you (rob searle remix)
aurora - ordinary world
cosmic gate - somewhere over the rainbow

apparently Captain Jack is/used to be quite big for eurodance in germany... anyone living in germany care to elaborate at all on that ?
