Tiësto, twice voted the #1 DJ in the world by DJ Magazine, will make FFWD history on Saturday, August 14, when he becomes the first DJ ever to perform on the DJ Fanclub Opening Truck.
Some four hundredthousand people will be watching the premier DJ Fanclub truck.
No DJ has ever performed at a DJ Fanclub Truck.
During this parade, all participating clubs and party-organisations introduce their DJ’s, over 1000 in total. DJ Fanclub has shown it values art and innovation by asking the most popular DJ on Earth to produce the music for the parade.
Tiësto will perform his DJ-set live in the first DJ Fanclub Truck ever. This will include new tracks produced especially for the Opening Truck and songs that have been tailored to compliment the spirit of the FFWD-Parade.
In connection with this announcement, Tiësto said, “I am honored to be to be part of the biggest Truck Parade in the world. The fact that the trucks are returning to their starting point and to the city where they were revived makes Rotterdam very special.
