Idea

I think Adagio For Strings is the better of these two. It's a classic.
Does anyone know that Souvenir De China bases on an old synthesizer classic also called Souvenir De China written & produced by Jean Michel Jarre. Fire & Ice uses some samples (like camera clicks) from the original track and that's how it reminded me of the original.

Wow, looks like Barber's Adagio is kicking some major ass! Kinda figured it would, although I still think Souvenir is an incredible tune!

Until Oct 6th I would have said Barber's Adaigo, but after Tiesto dropped Souvenir de chine @ Kool Haus, I along with 2500 of my fellow Tiesto followers went nuts. Never quite recovered yet, so Souvenir de chine it is!

This poll is still very close! Maybe now Souvenir De Chine is less fresh ('new') in your minds and you'll be able to make a more educated desicion?

Come on people, Ferry Corsten or Fire&Ice? Do we even need to discuss this? "Adagio" is clearly one of, if not the best trance song ever. What Ferry Corsten did with this track was unbelieveable. This song IS his best. As for "Souvenir," it is a very nice track. But do you think we will be talking about it in a couple of years like what we are doing with "Adagio?" It takes a massive effort to beat Ferry, and Fire&Ice just failed to do that.
