hahah, Katoomba is about two hours west of sydney, in the blue mountains..
it wasn't a DVD - more like a cruddy english dubbed video. The aussie distributor was apparently Siren...but Wings isnt in their online video catalogue for some odd reason.
Alternatively, you could buy the DVD from The Cartoon Gallery for about $70, hahah.

werd to BGC2040! i loved that!!

aie! there is so much anime I haven't seen yet..Grave of the Fireflies, Cowboy Bebop.. Urotsukidoji, hah!

...to the video store!

Ves: Have you seen Cardcaptor Sakura ? And by that I mean not the heavily-edited english dub "Cardcaptors" [they actually cut out almost 2 hours worth of footage from the entire series and badly tweaked the main themes and relationships] but the original un-cut japanese form. If so what did you think of it?
I was quite suprised by it, and had initially hated the whole magical-girl genre.
So suprised to the fact that I now consider it up there as one of the greatest anime series ever. But of course that is what to be expected when you have CLAMP as the original manga writers and Madhouse as the anime production studio - a lethal team indeed.
Yes people, it may look fluffy and cutesy, but theres actually a deep plot and good character development! The relationship between Sholan and Sakura throughout the series is frucken great hehehe

Berserk is my favorite anime series, it has one of the best storylines and I love the characters in it

haha Ves, Ebay had Wings Of Honnaemise for like 15 bucks... thats where i got Princess Mononoke for 15 bucks too. Much easier than Katoomba even tho i live near Penrith, the hike will be too much

Princess Mononoke came in this afternoon and been watching it all. Studio Ghibli is a whole different company from Manga yeh? And i noticed how much of a similarity it had to Spirited Away. OMG how nice is this film, i mean the music, the characters and the story just stunned me haha.. What other Studio Ghibli stuff are out there???

Escaflowne, The best series i've ever seen.

AKIRA, The first big Anime, the one that started it all.
Ghost In The Shell, The second big Anime.

The castle of cagliostro, Heaps of fun, great entertainment.
Spirted Away, Very deap... have to watch it more than once.
Princess Mononoke, Classic, that's all I can say

Cowboy Bebop, Again, one of the best I've ever seen.

Currently wanting the end of Naruto (Which is still being released) Anyone got them?

Also after Macross 0, anything after eps 3 if anyone has them.

Naruto is still airing in Japan as we speak, episode 79 is the latest. There is no end in sight, in fact, the manga hasnt even finished yet, so expect a few years before Naruto ends.

There are only 3 Volumes of Macross Zero OVA so far, Volume 4 is out soon.

With EBAY, be careful in what you buy cause there is alot of priated bootlegged anime on there.

tathi: SDF Macross is a MUST HAVE. The DVD set costs an arm and 3 legs but its worth it!
