The problem is just the definition of hard trance is not very clear around here. The reason I say there's nothing hard about Alphazone is because they are, generally, less "hard" then Dumonde. Dumonde can't really be called hard trance either so where does that leave Alphazone? They may be energetic and fast, but that doesn't automatically make them hard, not in the sense that the word is used today.
Compare any Alphazone tune to, say, Hennes & Cold - The Second Trip.
