I completely disagree with you. If artists spend time creating music for the rest of us, I mean people who actually do the work themselves, they work as hard as anyone and they deserve to be compensated for the work they do.

What bothers me is people who stand up on stage and shake their ass for money with songs written by other people. If they want to shake it to make it. There are lots of strip clubs around.
