take James Zabiela as an example... Sasha does the same...

fuck every DJ should how not to limit themselves like Trance DJ's do...

thats how a genre gets stale

ok.. Well.. I use to do that, Begin with Prog or tech house, then trance, and then tech trance, techno... but what when u are at techno or techtrance... do u go dwon again to trance and then prog.. or just stick it up with trance, techtrance and techno?? never down??..

The more genres you use, the more interesting the set is. As you keep playing different stuff, they never know what's next. More genres mean more variety, and the more variety, the less of a chance there is that the listener will get bored. It's true that if done badly it can suck, but done well it makes for a much better set than it would be if you were a wuss and stuck to one genre. Trance is easy to mix anyway.

I mixed with a friend of mine who spins techno and we switched off every recored. sounded great together...at least when he mixed in...I still sucked a$$.
