For the record, Jon Secada – “Just Another Day is from 1992, but it's not exactly trance and I've no clue what Acosta's own remix sounds like.

Latin pop. I don't think that counts man. And even if George did the remix back then it doesn't belong in a History of Trance CD.

The sad thing is that people out there that know nada about trance might just buy it because of the name. A friend of mine just mentioned it to me asking if he should buy it, I obviously told him HELL NO, but that just shows how easy is to attrack people with such 'fancy names' ... marketing can be so pathetic.

what i want to know is what the point of this compilation was.
if you want a trance "classics" CD go and buy tranceport - at least that CD came out at the time and not 5 years trying to milk some overplayed tunes to the last drop...

anyone who has listened to trance properly for a number of years knows how difficult it would be to bring out a CD trying to represent "the history of trance". you could easily do a CD for every year from 1993-2004 - thats over 120 tracks at least. try and fit this into a double (or even triple) compilation CD and you end up with either:
1. all the tracks everyone knows. it adds nothing to an already saturated market
2. if you try and be original and put some great yet little known classics no one will buy it (except maybe a small minority of very well informed listeners)

if you are the company you obviously want to make as much money as possible which is why everyone goes for option 1

this is just another deplorable attempt to cash in on classic tracks and should be treated with the contempt it deserves

On the CD it's listed as 2004 since he produced this remix in 2004. I guess that is why it's on there. Personally I think it's the worst track on the CD.

That and he is about half that size now. I guess if I were gay I would be concerned with what he looked like.
