That's just great. Apparently they're not in the business of functional software, either.

325 bugs since the first release, and those are just the ones that Microsoft has discovered and gone public with, not including those that have been addressed by hotfixes or simply haven't been addressed at all, and not including all the newly discovered bugs that will supposedly be fixed in SP2.
And yet their execs still have the chutzpah to tell us that we aren't even buying software from them, we're just buying a license to operate their software. Did I miss some really important event in the history of US and Canadian law, an event such as the unilateral federal invalidation of the First Sale Rule?
Well then - since we're technically buying a service from them as opposed to a product, as they themselves claim, then they should have to follow the same rules as every other service provider and issue credits and/or refunds when that service is interrupted. Any legal experts wanna take a stab at that one?
