I AM knocking the Toronto crowd..
Most of us need a kick in the head
We need more energy in the clubs and more interaction and LESS ATTITUDE.

Typically the biggest posers are the ones who post on message boards about how much they hate "posers".
Start naming these cities you've partied in that have better and more friendly crowds than Toronto (this is going to be funny).
I've partied in alot of different cities extensively all over the world and I can tell you that Toronto brings out one of the best crowds of any city on the global clubbing circuit. I know a ton of people that drive up to 8 hours just cause they like to party in Toronto. The people in TO are cool; there's no attitude; everybody wants to have a good time; and the crowd is diverse.

miami, new york, La
- you've got to be fucking joking here. I've lived in 2 of these cities (NY, LA) and partied alot in Miami. LA and Miami are full of people that are too into themselves to know any better. The club scene in LA has only taken off over the past 4 years or so and LA is very much a see-or-be-seen type crowd. The same goes for Miami. The city is full of barbie dolls who bring a case of make-up with them when they go to the club... if it wasn't for the wmc, nobody would give a fuck about Miami. New York is cool and has alot of good clubs, but the vibes still pale in comparison in Toronto. Start naming clubs in these cities with crowds that are better than your average TO crowd. It should make for a good laugh.
Buenos Aires, Iguacu Brazil
- I wouldn't be surprised if the typical Brazilian vibe is as good or better than TO. People from Brazil love life and are very fun to party with. My friend Tomas used to rave about Pacha and always tells me to go there when I get the chance. He also likes TO though because the people are open, laid back, and fun to talk to.
Amsterdam
- The MDMA capital of the world... fun to party in, but London is much better.
Rome, Stockholm, Copenhagen
- These have never really been known as big clubbing cities. I dated a swedish girl in London and she never seemed to care for what Sweden had to offer in the way of clubs. She would rather party in London any day of the week because of the variety of clubs and the variety of people. And being someone whose lived in London, most of the vibes aren't as good as a top TO vibe.

Ive always had a great time and met lots of people when ive gone to NYC. I didnt find the same kind of princess attitude from the girls nor did i get bad vibes from any of the guys walking around.
LA: well you have to choose wisely. If you hang out with all the movie star types you are going to get attitude. But, i went to a few clubs there and it was really chilled and not full of attitude.
Miami, again it depends where you go. But even in SOBE it was posers and partiers. It all depended on where u went. I found it to be an even 50/50 split.
Toronto definately has a nice aspect of a party scene and some decent crowds. But, these are increasingly few and far between. the vast majority here are now definately in the poser category. You get all types everywhere but what im saying is that Toronto has way more attitude and posers than most other places.
As for your comment about Stockholm etc. Ask anyone in the world about Toronto and they will not consider it a major clubbing city. And compared to London (which was pretty good as well i might add) most cities are not that major.

Even though I think there is a push for the money crowd, I don't find the social aspect is lacking in Toronto.
I just find it becoming a bit on the materialistic side is the main thing I am getting @. Clubs moving forward with dress codes, the crowd wearing slacks, dress shoes, slip dresses and heels.. etc... just doesn't feel like a party to me.
Maybe it can be chalked up to the aging of the original party-populace in this city, or the fact that clubbing is more like the disco age these days.... about the decedance as much as the music..
That said, I'm a one-man party, so none of it bothers me, just something I've observed over the past six months.
Forget about the city-by-city comparisons, Toronto is great, and world class, I just don't like the idea that some ppl are 'lower class' in the scene, just because they don't like Gucci, Prada, and Deisel.

Thats what im talking about though.... in my travels people do wear the expensive clothes but they go out to have fun and party and actually arent afraid of getting sweaty and messing their "look" up by the end of the night.
It seems to me that most club cultures know they are cool while most people in Toronto havnt convinced themselves that they are and seek approval from others. This is why you have so many "try hards" here.
