perhaps the film just isn't for the political elite...

"it is so outrageously false, it's not even worth comment." --Dan Barlett, the White House communications director

ehm, have the white house already seen the movie?

Since when does being "reasonably informed" constitute being a political elite? One would imagine that being an elite of anything would imply going above and beyond what may be deemed reasonable.

ahh yeah, elite may have been the wrong word... but still you got my point... everyone "reasonably informed" knows about the Holocaust, though it can still be interesting to see movies about it... i mean people doesn't know the details or whatever... it's not like a documentary has to contain some "breaking news"

LOL.

The questions deepen. What exactly was Berg doing in Iraq, and what did he tell Michael Moore before he left?

Moore interviewed Berg for "Fahrenheit"

The murdered American hostage had given an interview for the documentary, but it is not included in the final version.

May 27, 2004 |

Filmmaker Michael Moore filmed an interview with American Nicholas Berg in the course of producing his documentary film "Fahrenheit 9/11," before Berg was taken hostage and killed in Iraq, Moore confirmed to Salon in a statement Thursday. The 20 minutes of footage does not appear in the final version of "Fahrenheit 911," according to the statement.

Word of the footage reached Salon through a source unaffiliated with Moore, or his film, "Fahrenheit 9/11," which is reported to feature stark images of U.S. civilians and soldiers grappling with conditions in war-torn Iraq, as well as examining the relationship between President George W. Bush and the bin Laden family. It received the Palme d'Or, the Cannes Film Festival's highest honor, on Saturday.

Well obviously Moore murdered Berg himslef in order to promote his film before widespread release. I mean look how fat the murderers are. That in itself is conclusive evidence that Moore is linked the murders asides from a "convenient" invterview. Right people? Hellooooo? Where are all the conspiracy theorists???? Anyone?? C'mon the facts are as plain as day!!!!! Pffft circumstancial has lost all meaning since the advent of the internet.

Michael Moore has bored me for years, I find he claims to represent the working class when yet he claims happily in his book that he is a rich man living in a multi million dollar apartment, working class? I think not. Also the man goes on about Americans and Obesity but fails to look at himself in the mirror (300 Pounds, last I heard). I'm tired of his biased views, bashing Bush, I got no problem with but when you make up lies and distort the facts then I have a real problem. I won't be seeing his film or reading any of his books. It is also funny that Michael Moore who encourages dialogue took the forums off his website about almost 2 years ago to end the dialogue between his critics and his supporters. I'd fed up of him just being a hyprocrite, everything he says, he does differently and I'm sick of people caring about his views. I mean I could twist the facts and make a movie, should the public be able to see that?

You yourself are exhibiting the same bias and prejudice that you criticize of Michael Moore - choosing not to see his recent film becuase its made by him

A common thing that is often mentioned about moore is he exaggerates and is totally biased in his opinions. To an extent i agree but i dont see many of the neo con nancy poofs complaining much about fox news wanka's like mr o'reilly and mr hannity. Fox news is a total disgrace to the field of journalism around the world but i dont see many seppo's whining about that. "Fox news.......we're fair and balanced!!" pfffft who are they trying to kid!
