Yes, I must agree Schranz is bullshit...in sence of producing...allthough there are some older Schranz tracks that are good..for example some Chris Liebing stuff...

To only count, how many recs for example Natus is releasing...most of them is bullshit..99% few "original" tracks...most of it has nothing to do with music...commercial shit or something...$$$
I wouldn't ever buy Schranz...

And Rush is still cool...How can you imagine good Schranz mixing? With 3 decks or something....LOL... Rush's is great...
>and I have heard a Viper XXL set called Turntable Schranz 2001...which is the best Schranz set I've heard...
And like Amok has sayd, his goal is to see how far is he able to push the crowd...so Schranz is a little bit of a different thing..than other styles..it's about power...pure raving...like tekkno in the old days...
Many young dudes like Amok, Viper XXL, Kvitta...need to thank Dj Rush for his help..on getting first recs released...

like e.g. Pet Duo ...
and wtf is up with ppl saying that rush's mixing is good? ever heard his Knee Deep Hard Energy mix-cd released about 1-2 months ago? now thats what I call shitty mixing

and I gotta say that e.g. amok's style is kinda insane for my likings, I think his produtions are more aggressive than the other stuff by natus, wittekind, kvitta etc.

a quote I found on his website:
"These days, when everyone and his uncle is trying to sound like me,
itīs time to show the kids a new way and give em all new headache - amok style"

as Wildfir3 said, its also fun on big parties; I've seen Marco Remus 2 months ago and I really liked his set, starting with some funky shit and then mixing in some hard techno after ~20 minutes, amazing

its true, that there aint really a variation in those type of productions by natus etc., but what about hardcore? thats the most stupid form of EDM imo, and all of its subgenres like speedcore etc.
where's the variation in these productions?

The main problem is the idea that if you've heard 2 tracks, you've heard 'em all. I used to be like that but I've tried all kinds of music during the past few years and I'd have to say i can respect pretty much every genre nowadays.

Hardcore isn't always the same, there IS variation, but you've probably heard the wrong tracks

LOL @ Rush isn't as hard as Wittekind etc...his Sonne Mond und Sterne 2003 set is fooking hard...
+ Amok is actually more like hard techno...

And hardcore owns Schranz...especially some 1995, 1996..."oldschool"...for example 2002 Thunderdome by Gizmo & Darkraver set owns every single Schranz set...

I used to be a huge fan of hardcore. It's all I listened to, but it got to mainstream and just sampled Jay-z lyrics over and over again. True that hardcore has always been linked to hiphop though. Most DJ's from Rob Gee to DJ Promo have always had a feel for hiphop. Since the 80's with Marc Acardipane, progressing to Thunderdome in 91 (when it offically was a party) it has always sampled hip-hop. But, back to what I was saying is I grew out of it. Not all the tracks are the same. The basslines and kicks are similar yes, but that goes for any genre. On a related subject, I <3 TECHNO!
