I am a front line Health Care worker, so I think I know something about the issues, first hand. Believe it or not, Jayx1 is quite right on most of what he is saying...can't be bothered to go into the specifics...however, I just want to make it clear that under the Harris government, Health care spending actually WENT UP! Unlike the Liberals, Harris had the balls to introduce REFORM and much needed restructuring. The health care system is better now than before Harris. The former tory gov't did make some mistakes, but all in all, it was for the better. And at least when Harris said: "I'm gonna cut spending and give tax relief" he meant he's gonna cut spending and give some tax relief.

drewfactor: wouldnt it be nice if they continued reforms like say getting rid of all the boards of directors at each hospital and all the bureaucratic BS rather than throw more money at the problem and hope it goes away?

If the system is broken, wasting more money on it will just result in wasting more money. Thats about it.

I see right through the health care fear mongering that liberals and NDP use in their campaigning. I wish more people would as well.
