(Okay not super dreamy, but soooo relaxing)

I believe most of William Orbit's "Pieces in a Modern Style" are supposed to be dreamy... esp the one I posted before.

And as long as we're including trance, there's always (part of) Ayla - Vegas.

And can't forget Gwill Morris - Time (Trippy Dub)

Keiichi Suzuki - Satellite Serenade

Juno Reactor - Solaris

Amethystium - Shadow to Light

out of all these artists that you mentioned which one would have an album worth getting?

Is this a rhetorical question?

If not, I would think William Orbit's album would fit the dreamy category pretty well. Amethystium has a few very good ethereal type tunes, fits in with New Age. Holst is a classical composer, NIN would not float your boat , Juno Reactor is of course techno, and you know Ayla and Gwill Morris...

I personally think the Blue Haze Daydream mix is more dreamy than the Blue Room Project mix, but that's just me (and I'm so happy, I got part two (w/ the two mixes I mentioned) on vinyl just a couple days ago! )

I'm surprised Brian Eno hasn't been mentioned yet?

Here's a fine, fine list of "dreamy" music:

http://www.echoes.org/Beyond-Ambient25.html

A lot of it comes from an earlier era but that in no way puts it down. Like a Grandfather Clock, they may keep time but they themselves are timeless masterpieces.

Vangelis 1492.

Someone told me the other day that I'd really like "Delerium" - she recognised the music on the 1492 score, but hadn't heard it in the original format before.

Ooo - Brian Eno - just one track - okay maybe two - Deep Blue Day (I think that's right - Trainspotting track, in any case), and the Prophesy theme from Dune.

First post here, btw!

edited to add -
"Host of Seraphim" Track 3, Baraka score. - the haunting voice of Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance)
(You may also remember her voice from the movie "Gladiator")
