the platter isn't stainless steel, it's aluminum. you could polish it up no problem if you wanted. the problem would be keeping the shine. aluminum oxidizes pretty quickly, and it will look dull within months. though if you were into keeping up the shine it would reflect those blue led's pretty nice!

Hm I didn't know the platter was aluminum, I guess the term "wheel of steel" is just a metaphor then. And I want to polish my dots because 1. One of my MK2s is well over 5 years old and it looks like ass 2. The dots right now are, for a lack of a better word, "ridged" which makes it very hard to clean/polish. I think I'm going to go ahead and give it a try and share with you how it went

No, you're right actually. I've looked it up and it was 9€ for everything (so, 1X 10000, 4X 4500, 10 X 1000McD)

personaly i would prefer the UV ones for my decks rather than the blue... now that would be cool.

im so pleased ive finaly got to use that smiley
