I guess I'm the only one that'll miss the Jurgen Vries alias... Opera Song was devastating when I heard it at GKGG 2002 and in Ibiza and The Theme is one of my all-time favorites. I have yet to heard Take My Hand, but I hope he ends off JV with a bang.

haven't you heard ASOT lately? It's actually so much better now. Armin's playing more Epic and less Prog.

Good Job Armin!

Umm sorry that I have a opinion that does not match yours but that's just too bad. Armin and co. are taking trance into mediocre crap land but this is not the thread to do it, this is how poor old mr.tate wanted to go mainstream and it hurt him.

Will be interesting to see how he refocuses, whether he can produce something as good as Let the Light Shine In again...

Agreed. I love Darren Tate's work, just not the stuff under Jurkin Fries

Tate made enough money from when that charlotte church song in the UK charts, I don't think he is that mad about it. Probably counting his money like matt darey.

Agreed. Personally I think Tate did quite well with his exploits in commercial music. However, I also think he is right to pack it all in now. He can spend more time working on his proper projects.

seeing asthough nobodies actually gotta die for real - so the alias will disappear but he'll still be putting music out as an artist - so what's the loss?
