As a side-note, it appears Manual Schleis is working on a second bank for Vanguard. It actually sounds quite decent. Not decent enough for me to part with my Virus (ha!), but still... not bad at all.

I like the vanguard but only use it for layering or adding a filler melody in a track ,not the lead or main arp.
