Ya the seperate volume meters are nice as is the ability to rack mount. I just love the layout and look of the Ecler and all of its features are top shelf.

if the nou 5 is made like the smac30's or 40's i would stay away......its isn't made well IMO eq knobs wobble like crazy .....it offers nothing more than other mixers in the same category.....i ordered a smac 40 didn't even play 2 records on it...it was up on ebay that fast......thats what i thought of the quality of the mixer

Damn.. thats one prolly the first bad thing I have ever heard of Ecler products... I have never played on a Ecler before.. but from previous reviews I have only heard great things...
The one thing that Prod. and I found out on the X1500 is that the volume faders aren't exactly what we are use to.. they are digital, and there is some serious delay if you go to slam the volume up (ie: volume drops, etc)... The EQs were to close together BUT very good at cutting the sound... and the effects unit it pretty sweet... one of the better in-mixer units I have come across... Other than the volume faders delay 'problem' I think this mixer will have people taking a second guess about the extra 400 bux for a DJM 600...

i don't think they can get away with charging £845 for something that won't last 2 minutes to be honest.

well i honestly only turn my eq's, i don't wobble them. but if i do, they move slightly. won't most knobs anywhere move a tiny bit if u apply enough force to it tho?

u will not find that on a allen or dateq...vestax also seem to be pretty tight...i also didn't like the type of plastic on the eq's on the ecler.....i suppose the mixer is good for the money.....i also will say it sounded nice.....i just wasn't happy with the construction of it...

Thats crappy to hear about the Eclers, I have never span on the Ecler40 but I have tried it in a shop, I didn't notice any problems with the knobs, but I wasn't applying much force, but I'm sure they have sorted any and all problems with this Nuo5, I'm probably gonna get one, and if so I'll wright a review, or if I go for the Denon, I will have tested out the Nuo at some point and will wright a brief review about anything good or bad I find about it.

Thats the first negative comment i've heard as well. What would you suggest thats along the lines of the Nou5 but more sturdy and well built. It doesn't necissarly have to have the built in stuff either.

well let me not bash ecler.....i guess its ok if u wanna save some money...but how much is the nou 5 going for about 850 USD??? i'm not sure but if your gonna spend that much i would go with the djm 600 or the a&h 62 both are in same money area....if u have the money buy something a lil more quality.....
