I'm sure Steve's on Queen sells them - since a lot of muscians use the for monitors.

RJ, I want to try yours out if you don't mind, at some point. See if they're worth getting.

I use my Shure E2c buds pretty much everyday at work, on the subway and at the gym. There really no comparison between isolating buds like these and regular earbuds (even the ones made by good companies such as Sennheisser).

E2c's are much more comfortable, better sound quality, outside noise doesn't bother you (for example, with regular earbuds I'd have to listen at a volume of 20-25, with E2c's the max that I need to go up to, at the gym, is 10-12 and I still can't hear anything around me).

The price was reasonable. I mean you get good quality sound, but ~$160CAD after shipping etc. is somewhat steep. Considering how much better these are than regular eabuds, I wonder how much better the E3c's are than E2c's

Where can you order these from a dealer that ships to CANADA? The shure website won't ship to Canada, and there are no dealers listed.

I just got those yesterday; fuckin wicked headphones! Tested them out on the subway last night and today, and barely any sound gets in; you can fainly hear background noise when a tune goes silent, but when theres a beat then you can't hear anything.

If anyone wants to get some good in-ear headphones, but think the Shure ones are too expensive, then definately look into the Sony ones. "Only" 59.99 now.

I just ordered (finally) the Shure E2C Isolating In-Ear Earphones

I hope these live up (relatively closely) to the standards of RJ's 3Ecs!

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr...864&catid=11174

I can't wait to try them out on my iPod! I have them on reserve at Future Shop in Barrie. That's where I'm picking them up on Saturday.

My Sennheiser headphones appear to have gotten damage somehow last weekend when I was in TO, and now EVERYTHING is distorted when listening w/ them... and I just tried someone else's earbuds at work, and my iPody sounds FINE w/ them.... so it's the headphones and NOT the iPod (THANK JESUS AND MOSES!)

Cant wait ppl!

Also just ordered a thin screen cover/protector for my iPod too... tired of using a silcone case + screen shield... I dont care if the body gets a little scratched or damaged, its just the SCREEN which I have to read everyday that I wanna protect. I can't wait till that ships (from the UK) and arrives, I'm anxious to try it out too w/ iPody!

Jem

I got the Apple in-ear headphones but quickly grew to hate them! They have way too much treble unless inserted properly and I can't seem to do it, even though they give you 3 size adapters. They're cheap, about $50 but for me a waste of money.

Some people actually use high-end in-ear headphones for DJ stuff and that's what I wanted to try, but I gave up due to the insertion problem and also for DJing the headphones are often removed for sound checking and then put back in, and it's a big pain doing that with in-ear phones.

today i was at the library pretending to read, dozing off a bit, listening to some chill tunes with the E2Gs (same as E2C cept it's black with a shorter wire, G = gaming [dont ask] ). someone kinda grabs me by my arm, i lift my head up from the book and see like 10 ppl staring at me. as soon as i removed the earphones, i can hear my cell ringing, and you guys know how cellphone ringtones have that pericing high pitch tone..

i put my phone on silent in such places, but it was actually the alarm clock that rang.

just another note, be careful when wearing these outdoors where there traffic. you wont be able to hear any honking...

the E2Gs come with ultra soft flex tips which are the msot comfortable. not sure about the E2Cs. get them.
