A funny thing I have often observed is how much more exponentially powerful music sounds when you crank the volume up and can see the physical action of the air pushing the cones with the intense bass. There was a time when I didn't "get" minimal tech. and I was wondering what the appeal of it was, before I heard it coming out of a good sound system courtesy of Richie Hawtin. That being said, be careful and take precautions for your hearing -- you'll miss it when it's gone, and I speak from personal experience.

You should maybe do a search on techno and see how many threads it returns. The fact is altho this is a trance board, people also like techno and put threads up about it.

My point is that there is absolutely no point what so ever of posting "dislike techno" as it just makes him out to be an idiot.

I think you are the one who needs to think about what they are posting.
