It just doesn't seem right...
I mean would you go to a symphony concert, and they replaced all the violins and shit with a mp3 player?

Djs behind pcs always look like they not enjoying themselves.

I also thing a 12" record collection looks way better than a CD collection ,not to mention an mp3 collection.

Well personaly i use all 3, vinil and cds for the actual songs. My laptop for putting in sound bites and samples. I guess what i should of said from the beging is that i think that anything can be used as a tool, but your not gonna reach your full potential inless you can use all types of them

i didn read all ur peoplez replies but in my opinion when i go to club i wanna hear a dj play vynil it gives a warmer feeling first of all and then it looks kinda cool to see a dj actually workin behind the tables an dnot just pushing the buttons on a laptop no matter how u say it laptop djing doesnt require as much skill as tables
the companies are makin money on us and thats all they do they dont care about music and the laptop djing is one way they can make more money by teling us that its as cool to play on a laptop as to play on vynil but its not the only use of a laptop i see is to mix in soundeffects in ur set or some other improovements
oh the cdj is not as bad because it still requires a certain level of skill to play on a cd and its way cheaper
