A very very very disappointing album by Prodigy. I honestly don't know where to start, so I won't.

But if you're expecting another Fat of the Land, think again!

It's actually a pretty good album. I don't like Get Up Get Off, Hotride, Action Radar or Phoenix, the rest isn't bad

Spitfire is sick ...it's like a female version of RATM

honestly...unless ur a true prodigy fan, u wont like it....

have a listen to some old tracks of theirs..ull see how versatile they really are...

its just that the hard stuff of theirs only gets on the charts and people think thats the only thing theyre about

So new album dropped into HMV this week and being the huge fan of the Prodigy for many years now I couldn't wait to hear it. Had already heard 'Girls' which I guess has grown on me - got some solid beats which I've always liked about Prodigy. Memphis Bells - great baseline and hard beats - again trademark Prodigy. Listening to the rest of the album I was disappointed in some of the showings on some of the tracks. I suppose I expected better after a 7 year hiatus from the studio. I think there's better stuff that didn't make it onto the album. Supposedly they may release an album of rarities and unreleased stuff.

Under My Wheels, Spitfire, The Way It Is (great rework of Thriller hook), You'll be Under My Wheels are all great tracks while I felt Phoenix and Action Radar were absolutely horrible and I would never have guessed to be Prodigy tracks if not for being on the album. They go nowhere and don't use much layering or beat change-ups which is unfortunate.

Still for die hard Prodigy fans like myself - its still a buy as some of the tracks will grow on you.

Check out the vid for Girls Here

I didn't find this album very appealing the first 2 times I heard it... and I really doubt I'll change my mind if I hear it again.

Yea, I had this album like 2 months ago... it's good stuff but it will never attain the "classic" status that FOTL enjoys. Funny, I hadn't listened to this album in about a month and I heard in as I was walking through the path around Bay/Wellington on wed. I was groovi' as I jammed past all the slow morons who don't know how to look where they are walking

okay i got the cd yesterday and here is the review.

they definately maintained the classic prodigy sound, so if you liked the prodigy brfore u'll like them here again.

a few beefs.

Where are Keith's Vocals?! All the female vocals make the album sound a little to "glam punk" and no so much in your face Keith style.

Action Radar is horrid!

I really liked phoenix until i heard those terrible lyrics. First thing i did when i got home was to try and find an intrumental version. TRUST ME, phoenix is great.

Under my Wheels sounds too much like "one Man army" a release on one of their singles on fat of the land.

Best tunes:
Spitfire / Girls / Memphis Bells / Get up Get Off (reminds me of Diesel Power) / Wake Up Call / You'll Be Under My Wheels / The Way It Is

^^^^ Keith aint with them anymore i think....hmmm not sure..

but i bought this cd 2 days back..and i just love it. As mentioned before, if u REALLY love prodigy, u will know how versatile they are and this album goes to show their creativity.

btw. my favourite track is Shoot Down (loved it while listening and then im like..hmm familiar voice..turns out to be Liam Gallagher )
