I liked five or six of the tracks on the Coldharbour release, but other than that it felt as though he was padding the album.

it is just a refreshing site to hear a "new "sound and see a new dj. The fact is change is good for the music and the dj community. It makes the dj work harder for recognition, people listen to the music more, and more importantly listeners stop focusing on image and perceptions but rather the primary reason a dj is a dj ; the music. I think currently ( after hearing and seeing their performces this year as well as hearring some of their live sets this year, not ticket sales or hype) if I were to vote for the top 10 dj they would be as followed:

1. Armin Van Buuren
2. Sasha
3. Markus Shulz
4. Deep Dish
5. Ferry Corsten
6. Judge Jules
7. John Digweed
8. Paul Van Dyk
9. Timo Mass
10. Fergie
10. Tiesto

This indeed would be an unbiased list of which dj's are truley living up to the standards...no bullshit "list" created by the promoters. Would be interested to see what some intellegent TA's on this site would opine on their top 10 today...

I have to say I like him because his, to use a few choice pro-backed words from this pro-backed thread, "style" of "slow" "progressive" music got me out of my epic trance rut.

But I have to also say that it didn't take me long to realize he became a sell out when he started making tracks about the main melody instead of the track as a whole.
