I personally do not like Tiesto, he just doesn't flow for me. But then again, i don't lsiten to him much.
About the hate thing, people like to hate on different types of music simply because it makes them feel superior. Really it's all about social dynamics and such. The way i see it, each genre of music generally represents some form of sub-culture. When you're viewing one culture from the outside, you tend to think of yours as better. I forgot what the scientific term is, something like cultural bias I think, but it really is a proven fact among people and groups of people. Anyway, people have a need to feel better then other people because they are insecure. Music is just another arena for the fight.
