Of particular notice here is the last word. You chose to put a period after it, yet by itself it does not form a sentence. Had you put an exclamation mark after the single word, it would have been an acceptable use. Not only are you sadly mistaken, you also left the first letter uncapitalized.

Your use of paragraphs seems rather limited, but I suppose in the end it's more of a subjective rule - more stylistic than anything else (I'll help you out - you can put more than one sentence in a paragraph).
