well

i sorta know what you mean voyage is what turned me on to him so i downloaded a ton of his songs and thought they were O K nothing compared to voyage right...
but anyway recently ive heard more and more and forced myself to hear them over and over (like if im in the other rooma nd the playlist is going) and all i have to say is it really really really grows on you initially i really liked you inside it inspired me to listen to all his other tracks again, and then i got the grail of yahels music! sugar 1! i fucking love that song my only quarm about it is i wish the vocals would come in a bit earlier but if you notice yahels style is not with the massive build up he has a steady beat up too (usually around 3 - 4 mins in the song) hinting at this change... when 3 or 4 mins comes the track transforms continiously (have you noticed how he has these really distinctive bits before the main chorus, and after...) its almost like 2 chorus's but they work in sync incredibly, also his remix's arn't really remix's he really does something with them (run away side b for example...) he transforms the whole song... usually when artists do this is dangerous terrortory cause the whole reason there remixing it is cause the original formula works... but for some reason so does his other ones he is very very very talented i dont know if he has reached his potential or some of the other stuff he produces has too many psychedilic but his trancey tracks are phenomenal i reccomend you check out (and that means listen to it the whole way through about 4 times ) ummm these ones
Run Away (Side B) <--- i like side b better side a is good too tho
DNA (Deep Mix) <--- wow.
Suger 1 <--- more wow. when those chanting vocals kick in fuck.....
You Inside <--- probably a great track to listen too first...
Yahel - Sun Scream <--- Fast... alot harder but still awsome...
For the People <-- the extended or original is the best... build up...
Devotion <--- havent checked out the original yet, anyone help me out?
Sound and Melody <--- hmm i dunno about this one i can understand if you would call it basic but i still like it it sounds good thats what counts i guess...
and finally The Last Man in The Universe <---- FUCKING LOVE IT NOW!!!
listen to that last one a few times the breakdowns are so amazing!
he is really talented i would go as far to say a genius in this field

oh and

the reason he is on mp3.com is because many isreali artists are i think its great there proving its about the music. even astral is... considering isreali trance doesnt exactly get a huge recognition in the scene i think this is a way to get there music out and about more... even astral are on mp3.com you cant possibly call them amatures...

OMG..... u guys, well some of u anyways need to get your ears cleared.... Yahel has some of the greatest productions out there at the moment. Firstly have u seen his Studio?? i cant believe he makes this great music with such a crappy studio.. if u compare his studio to say PvD's its nothing, so put that into count as well. He has a unique sound and thats what makes him so great IMHO....

whats his studio like ? is that why he has that high pitched kinda sound in most of his songs??? :P how ironic that if thats whats wrong with it is what gives him his distinctive feel hehehehehe

Yahel uses minimal equipment, does alot of the work on his computer. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but personally I think Yahel is an EXCELLENT producer.

For example voyage...the bass is much deeper then most trance, the synth line is very simplistic, yet Yahel put together the track just right to make it sound delicious! There aren't many other producer who could take such a simple melody and put it together so well. I respect Yahel very much, he is a world class producer and knows how to layer and arrange his tracks, unlike alot of other producers.

Yahel Rocks!

Its all in the ear!

Its nice that we could once again have a serious discussion here in the music forum instead of all the Direct DLs and the bullshit in Chill-out......

Let me tell you something about Yahel:
He can be compared with genius like Tiesto and Paul van Dyk.
His style is unique and absolutely original.
His productions are so well made that almost reach perfection.
I can't imagine the effort necessary to produce so excellent songs.

You have probably heard many of his songs, but if you haven't heard this one, go get it now:

Yahel - Last man in the universe

Oh god, this song is so deep, complex, original, and around minute 5:43 it has the best climax i've heard.

Yahel is transsssss tsss tsss tsss tsss...
