same here... well, actually im sure they probably could. nobody in the US can.

and i cant use the initial thing or just my name cause its so boring. listen to this: Andy Neefe
My last name rhymes with beef just for the record.
the most interesting part of my name is my middle name: cedric

wow.

someone told me i should just use my middle name but im not too sure about that. i just dont have a cool name. and A Neefe sounds stupid as does Andy N

even ACN (my initials) dont sound cool together. im just screwed... lol

Mine just came from an old nickname that carried thru my entire school days into college and beyond.... tried losing it cus its cheesy but when everybody remembers it even when they are drunk... gave up fighting it. I actaully have a cool real name which can be abbreviated and everything but no go... oh well...

What's wrong with Andy Neefe? Sounds perfectly fine to me. Whatever you do, don't put DJ in front of it. Old and tired.

You can always transpose the letters in your name. Like um... Den Yafeean. Or something better than that.

I don't reckon Andy Neefe is too bad, it sure beats Ben Lewis!!! If I had a middle name (which I don't) it woulda started with M, so I'm thinking of BML, but that sounds like something you'd buy from Subway.

Its times like thses I wish I had a good name like Ferry Corsten........

mewants to hear joke!

that aside, i've never thought up a DJ name. probably just use my plain old Ronald Kohn. i hate 'ronald' btw, but i like my last name. the ronald mcdonald jokes got soooooo old and annoying in grade school, haha.

why is it so many cool DJ's have cool names?

sven vath
james zabiela
james holden
richie hawtin
nathan fake
marco carola
gaetano parisio
ozgur can
yunus guvenen
phil kieran
mark farina

is it me, or do those names rock? heh.

if i'd ever put a mix out or perform in public which i'll never do most likely i'll call myself
christopher erland
it's derived from my real name which is really gay and no one could even pronounce it (using google and all kinds of other crap, so no one could figure my real name from that anyway), so this is better!

my alias is .nickname no dj just ".nickname". i got it after thinking of a username for signing onto websites. im just putting it here so if it ever happens that sometime in the future someone decides to use that name i can show them this legally binding document with the date and wham-o, the name is all mine.

as for your dj name, why don't you go with jonah, you could spell it like this "djonah" i dont know what your real name is but i think that looks cool and people wont know how to pronounce it. besides, jonah lived in a whale, you cant beat that publicity!
