I only have my ears pierced. I think the eyebrow (barbell) looks adorable on some chicks...especially with a little colored stone on each end...but the scar is not worth it, and it just looks too juvenile. it’s hard to get good jobs or to be taken seriously with piercings on your face. I got my tongue and belly button pierced after high school because it was a growing fad, but they didn’t last long because A. I have an allergy to stainless steel and my belly button got infected and B. after the 2nd snide comment from a total stranger about why I got my tongue pierced, it came out immediately. seriously, girls with tongue rings just look really trashy to me. and guys with it just seem like cocky male whores. why else would you get a tongue ring other than to be able to give good oral?
and i too chipped a part of my back tooth when i had my tongue pierced as i bit into a huge sub and was chewing. it got in the way. pointless if you ask me.
