What you stated in your post is obviously your personal opinion. It reflects badly on you when preach opinions as gospel.

well that is my opinion, and a lot of rollers opinions, although i did overexagerate. in either case, rollerbladers go bigger. you wont see a skateboard even attempt to finish the 666 rail. if you wanna see in just type in "666 rail" on google or yahoo. its worth the d/l. its absolutely insane.

now i know a lot of stickflippers say that inline is weak and pussy because our skates are attached to our feet. in reality all that means is that we can push ourselves to go bigger. we arent limited because we stand on a board. snowboarding is similar. its attached to your feet, thus allowing you to go huge.

no matter how i have come off, i will say i have respect for skateboarders, but my respect for them only goes so far. i dont have respect for those who only do it for the image, and i dont have respect for those who say they are awesome but cant do anything aka posers. i for example suck at inline, but im not a poser, because i dont say that im good. i just admitted that i suck.

anyway, i have respect for skateboarders that do it because they love it, not for the image, fame, or money. if they do it for their own self enjoyment, then i give them mad props.

to any inliner that hasnt seen the 666 rail vid, D/L IT!!!!! its sick

edit: nevermind, the link isnt there anymore

That's because it's more difficult to grid on a board than it is on blades.

It's like saying "Well I don't see any high jumpers leaping over 25ft high poles. That means that pole vaulting is better."

It's pointless to try and compare the two. It's a completely different non-ball game.

i can jump around and go backwards and do all sorts of cool tricks on them too all those friday nights at the rollerskating rink when i was 10 payed off

me too, haven't done it in a year, I found it more fun going to a rink and zipping around to music and doing tricks.

I was an aggressive in-line skater for the better part of 4 years.

I used to have the Rollerblade TarMacs, back in the day when they were the only Skates designed for aggressive inlining.

I created my own launch ramp at home, and I had rails and shit.

Went to the skate park often, when the city paid for it. But it was too damn expensive to skate in private parks.

Eventually gave it up 'cuz rollerblading fucked up my stride for hockey.

They are. It takes away some of the roll and turn radius and speed, but the advantage is you can grind just about anything.

I like both really, but I think I prefer flat, especially on my fiziks, its so smooth and nice to roll on. Fiziks is out of business since they were too expensive to produce/sell, but Tom Hyser (Fiz owner/inventor) has a new frame in the works with a huge grind space, so I can live without them.

haha, I am now ashamed to say that I did inline skate for a while. I think you guys are too young to know what was up with it early on. I remember watching a skate vid and this dude did a shifty, he said, "Thats a shifty royal, the hardest trick"

hehe, it is not underground at all, it is just as hard as skateboarding, just as hard as bmxin. There is nothing special about it, it is just fun to do. I strated back in 95, it was fun as hell for the longest time. but I got old and busy.

of ocurse we didn't listen to trance then, more like punk type stuff, and then sublime type stuff....then tribe alled quest type stuff

anyways, the x-games is bringing me back, I might have to get out my old pair of fatties. w00t for broken bone.s

before I got the Rollerblade TarMacs, my first pair of rollerblades were Ultra Wheels Wayne Gretzky's. They were black with neon green and neon orange trim. lol

I kept grinding without a grind plate, so there are these nice indents in the plastic.

Then I bought some metal grind plates... grinding with these on were 3x faster. Fucking scared the shit out of me the first couple times using them.

This was way back in '92, 93',& '94

When I was kid used to be really into it, but then I found something better... A skateboard. I got into skateboarding when I was in 4th grade and kept up with it until I started college. On the topic of Aggressive inline, Fabiola Da Silva is pretty damn good looking! Anyone agree?
