I agree that both "liberals" and "conservatives" seem to have their own opposition to true freedom. "Liberals," tend to take away the power of the individual when it comes to finance and future planning. I do think the "liberals" are over-reacting when it comes to the swift boat vets. As said before, there is the issue of free speech at hand, and unless Kerry would like to file suit for libel/slander, if this group wants to spend their money on this, it is their right. If I want to raise money so I can make commericals telling everyone the sky is purple, that is also my right. I didn't see nearly this type of vocality from the media when F/911 was released, and I do think the issues are very similar. It's called politics, it's called the dirty election that his has turned into, and it's also called free speech. If this is the "price" we pay for freedom of speech, it is an evil we must live with.
