if your talking about roxy, he left early because the "mixer" was "messed up"...noel sanger had no problems with it.

yea, i was talkin bout roxy and the last time at avalon he was having "problems" with a turntable, but the opening dj eddie lee (who also ended up closing cuz tiesto left early) seemed to be spinning fine.

I saw M.I.K.E in Glasgow, Scotland do it. He was playing at the Arches in the second room and one of the decks was having a few jumping problems. He went metal and walked off refusing to come back for about 20 mins or so.

He did eventually come back on and played on but when it happened again he just left the club. The crowd were gutted, there was about 500 in the room to see him and he just left the venue.

Still technical problems can be a pain

You might not be able to perform AS well, but you should still be able to play tunes, and beatmatch them reasonably well until the problem is fixed.
If the mixer has split cue, he shouldnt have even bothered bitching.

from your side your right , but think about what happens if you are a Top DJ and you startin to get probs you dont wanna ruin the name you got for yourself , if you wont say nothing and keep on spinnin and your mixes will b shite it wont help your career...

Tiesto did this at Kool Haus in Toronto in December 2002. He didn't just "walk off" but he quit spinning after maybe 2 hours. I was NOT IMPRESSED hence the fact that I had to buy my tickets off of a scapler and paid 80 dollars to hear Tiesto for a little less than two hours!!

I think that he was having problems with the mixer or something because I remember that there was a point where there was NO music playing for about 2 minutes.

These big name djs get way too stuck up. They are djs, dont they remember thier early days, when they had to spin on whatever crappy equipment the club had for them? Dont the understand that they are there to entertain?

point me in the direction of a rave with an actual dj thanks. Trust me ive checked the area out. Where i live the only raves are dark rooms filled with vietnamese kids who dont even dance, and they are playing dj skribble through a boom box.
