call me crazy but i think that system f - out of the blue and gouryella - gouryella sound so much the same maybe not so much the actual melody but if you brake it down the same instrumentation is used..maybe because theyre from the same producer? most likely

Was listening to Space Manoeuvres - Stage One in my car when all of a sudden, it hit me that DJ Tiesto's Close to You (Original Mix) has some elements of Stage One.....

Wonder if anyone feels the same.....not wholly of course...with 4 beats sounding similiar, but Tiesto brings it up, making more epic..

Cheers,
Insomniac_XII

I've also noticed that these two sounds a bit similar. Both are great tracks though!

Cool

i think mystery - the mystery sounds like a cross between chicane - offshore and rank 1 - airwave, not a synergy, just a cross between them.

Mario Piu & Mauro Picotto - Imperiale & Watergate "Heart of Asia" sounds the same because they are covers of the same track supposedly written by Mr. Lawrence (Jon The Dentist) - which is also evident from Imperiales full title "Imperiale (Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence)".

Mystery & Rank 1: Agree. Nearly the same track.

2001 Canaries & Darude: Actually the 2001 Canaries track was released before Darude hitted. I think that the track was released in markets where Sandstorm wasn't released initially - this happens often when there's ambiguity on who's the copyright holder on a track.

System F & Gouryella: Almost every Ferry Corsen production from that period share the same bassline and sampleset. Other examples would be Moby - "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad" & Art of Trance - "Madagascar".

And I just heard Darren Tate's "Pulse" which borrows heavily from 1998. And come to think of it the Megavoices mix of Picottos Lizard is also strongly influenced by 1998.

come to think of it, the main riff in chicane - offshore is similar to mystery - the mystery and sunburst - eyeball (john johnson mix)
