I was hoping to spend the same as I spent on my Xone... which is $1000. Hopefully it will come down in price by next year.

These turntables are IDENTICAL, they only differ in color and brand.

I was under the impression that the Stanton St-150 were also super OEMs, is this not correct?

As for that mixer - I think I'm in love.............(if only I had a spare two grand)

I'm not entirely sure about that one, mainly because it also has a straight-arm version (STR-150).

I can't check, because we don't sell Stanton except for the headphone and the cartridges.

I', pretty sure the Stanon 150s are super OEMs, and I'm sure you can get them in either straight (STR8-150) versions or S-Shaped (STR-150).

Also, Vlad, the price that J:\Digital told you (1400) thats Canadian, so in the US, it should be under $1000, same with the Denon.

I just did a checkup and indeed the Stanton is another Super OEM deck. However, Stanton did some modifications to it (line out, digital out, stuff like that) which REALLY pushed up the price.

The BST Pro4.5 appears to be a SuperOEM, just like the Reloop RP-6000.

Oh yea, forgot about the Reloop, but never heard of the BST version.

Wasn't the motor in this designed for Numark originally?, but then Numark for some reason didn't want it, so the company who made it, sold it to a bunch of others, and thats why theres loads of makes with the same internals.

That is quite possible and one of my considerations. However, I think Numark still uses this motor (CDX?). And if this is the same motor in the TTX, then we're talking about the ultimate turntable (The TTX could have been ultimate if it weren't for the VERY bad arm!).

numark should have accepted it if that is the case, the wow & flutter ratings of the current motor arn't that impressive.
