Sometimes, it reminds me of the temporal narcosis as featured on Star Trek: Voyager. Hindsight sure clears things up, eh? It's kind of funny that people living in the days of the Renaissance didn't actually call it that, and how the Golden Age of sci-fi and, heck, porn, wasn't recognized until way after the fact. There is romanticization going on. I don't mind personal preference as long as it's reasoned out with respect to differing opinions, mwahaha.
Oh yeah, about Ishkur's Guide... please, PlEaSe, PLEASE REMEMBER TO READ THE DISCLAIMERS. If you treat it more like Saturday Night Live than C-Span, you may be more comfortable.

I like plenty of trance productions post-1998

Why would I want image and ego on an internet forums board?

So you're telling me it's fashionable for me to be the only person on these forums who publicly agrees with Ishkur. Maybe your definition of fashionable is different from mine.

As opposed to the obsession to blame all that is wrong with trance on armin van buurens asot radio show, while blindly lavishing praise on tech-trance.
Maybe when I put artists down I should say something like "tiesto and ferry corsten suck". Perhaps when I slag epic trance I should make a valid point like "epic trance sucks balls" so I don't get flamed, because when someone gives some kind of logical reason for not liking ET the tranceheads realize that they either can't disprove it or don't have a better explanation. As a result, instead of making any points on the music to defend it, they resort to telling me that what i'm thinking is wrong with haughty rhetoric and false opinions.

I think Gouryella deserves a decent burial anyways. I dont know if anyone else has said this as i didnt feel much like reading this whole thread, but I cant imagine any more new Gouryella remixes being about style, class, or skill but rather money.

Now that i think about it, these guys maybe have a point...
i mean you can see Ferry and Tiesto don't support each other and the only reason they might be at a studio together again is because they feel all the buzz and demand about a Gouryella comeback
and they wouldn't mind doing acouple more extra bucks from it...
Tiesto gone commercial a long time ago, it would be harder for me to think that Ferry will do this for money, but it can be.
and if there will be a new Gouryella track or album, i think it deffinetally should bring a different sound and not try to reminisce about the classic one - It will only leave the fans with bad memories from Gouryella, i mean maybe some things are better left alone after all.

I would say its crap. Not everyone likes generic bullshit trance you know |

I don't know what you're trying to do here, but you have a right for your own opinion...
mine will still always be that Out Of The Blue is one of the greater classics and Ferry is one of the best Producers ever
