Yes it was way better than the original but the original was the chessiest, nastiest thing ever classed as "trance". This remix may have been way better but it still wasn't good. Maria Rubia's awful voice would kill the best track in the world so they Dumondde could never save it! And I personally think it's worse than "Din Daa Daa".

oh and what are your criterias as something thats not outdated sounding? predictable? sure maybe they sometimes use the same synths from time to time but who doesn't? can you say rank 1? hasn't ferry used that sweeping synth sound since a long long time ago? we don't have a problem with that though do we? i understand you don't like airscape all too much and thats your choice but could you somehow justify the things you've said about them? i mean saying their music is predictable and outdated sounding with nothing to back it up seems vague and unfair to me.

In the past I used to love Airscape. Airscape "Pacific Melody" was excellent and Airscape "Amazon Chant" (Heliotropic & Trouser Enthusiasts Mix) was great as well. I also really liked Airscape "L'esperanza" in 1999 and Tomski "Love Will Come" (Airscape Dub Mix) (additional production by Alex Gold) and Chicane "Halycon" (Airscape Mix) was really nice also but since late 2000 Airscape remxes have got very predictable and tired. If you took the vocals away from Delerium "Silence" (Airscape Mix(, Dario G "Dream To Me" (Airscape Mix), Sylver "Turn The Tide" (Airscape Mix) and Bombario "The Beggining" (Airscape Mix) it would be hard to tell them apart! Yes Ferry Corsten has used the same sound since 1997 on his remixes but I don't get tired of Ferry Corsten remixes, I can never get enough of them. Airscape's sound has got very tired in my opinion, though I've not bothered with their new remixes because I'm sure they're still using the same synths!

odd that you'll find those tracks that similar. i'm very confident with or without the vocals, i can tell them apart from one another. i know what you mean by their style sounding quite alike because of the same synths, especially the safri duo remixes, but i've always felt there was a more distinct difference in melody. anyway glad you took the time to explain your view, atleast now we have a better idea of what you mean. btw i've heard twisted from some promo mp3 i got from AG. if the buildup of the track sounds anything like what i heard, it should be a great track.

also i really recommend you take a listen to airscape's remix of ultra - free. quality tune!!!

I think I'll have to agree with you. Ferry Corsten is also up there, but he screwed it up a bit with poor productions like "Soul On Soul" and "Dance Valley Theme". L-Vee have the most and not least some of the best productions this year. 5 on top:

1. Fire & Ice - Souvenir de Chine
2. Fire & Ice - Lost Emotions 2001
3. Airwave - Save Me
4. The Green Martian - Industry
5. Airwave - Mysteries Of Life
