It hasn't been nearly as bad this year as in 99 and 95 when the Ryder Cup was in the USA. I think they stopped selling alcohol (or there's a 2 drink limit) so the American fans have been more respectful. But there were still a few incidents...cheering Sergio's ball going down the hill...Monty got a few heckles, etc.
But what a great win...it's hilarious to see the US media label the Europeans underdogs every time, but they've won 7 of the last 10...and this time by NINE POINTS!! Glorious.
I like some American players as individuals...for instance I was happy for Mickelson when he won the Masters, but I can't get behind him when he's playing for the red, white and blue. No sir.
