I love weather, and know a good deal about it. I guess you could count me in.

I want the complete history. As i understand correctly the upper level low went straight north and the lower level low went ssw then restrengthened in the gulf. I can find graphics of it when it was a SCY, CY, TS, and TD but none of when it was just below TD strength.

sorry I couldn't pull the image out of the .asp and post it here

Crazy Storm that won't go away

uhm....this one DOES have the track of the non-tropical low as it swung back around...it was non-tropical from the east coast of Deleware until it was back in the gulf (it even crossed FL again!)...

I take it you are looking for a split track map? Personally I've never seen one...been doing weather maps w/ flying for 10 years, and am only aware of those associated with lower level tracking. I guess you could try and look for archives of 250mb or 300mb charts on the aviation weather site adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov and look where the Low pressure system was at that altitue 24000 - 30000 feet in relation to where the Non-tropical low went...but I've never seen a "split" track of low pressure systems on one map.

But yes...the upper level and lower level low did "split" and the upper level low went NE-ENE out into the N. Atlantic as the jetstream picked it up and it dissapated.

i doubt that you'll find much about when it was below TD, because it wasn't named and it was just regular ol' convection.
